Two Peruvians taken into custody in Brazil for alleged drug trafficking

The authorities in Brazil have taken two Peruvians into custody after they
allegedly attempted to smuggle cocaine.
The man and woman were arrested at Sao Paulo's international airport on 26
April after the authorities found nearly six kilos of cocaine hidden under
false bottoms in their carry-on bags, The Associated Press reported.
According to the federal police they were charged with international drug
trafficking and could face up to 15 years in jail if found guilty.
The two Peruvians were reportedly trying to take the drug to the
Netherlands.
